Classon Ave’s beloved neighborhood bottleshop and taproom is turning two! Beerded Ladies is proud to present EVERYTHING IS AWESOME: Covenhoven’s 2nd Birthday Bash, a night of rare and exclusive kegs, special local NYC drafts, a collaborative house beer, a lego building contest and tons of good old fashioned suds-soaked fun.
On Friday, April 1st at 6pm, Covenhoven welcomes revelers new and old to stop by and toast another successful year of keeping Brooklyn in good beer and great company. The team has stocked up a handful of exciting rare beers for the event, including releases from Tilquin, Grimm Artisanal Ales, Wild Beer Co, Crooked Stave, Hanssens Artisanaal, BFM and more. Covenhoven will also feature a special lineup of super fresh, locally brewed beers to celebrate New York City’s incredibly awesome and welcoming craft beer community.
In keeping with the LEGO theme, Covenhoven will host an on-site lego building contest from 7pm to 9pm during the event. The competition will be judged by a very special guest and the winner will take home their very own growler of Greenpoint Beer Works & Covenhoven’s limited release Session IPA, Everything Is Awesome.
