A session-style IPA that boasts a low, 4.5% alcohol by volume. Hops in the brew include Calypso and Cascade, with Hallertau in the dry-hop. As Lexington Brewing was getting ready to release this beer, they heard about a fire at Old Friends thoroughbred retirement facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. The non-profit organization takes care of former racehorses, giving them a happy retirement. While the fire didn’t hurt people or horses, the fire was damaging to the organization. Coinciding with the launch, the brewery will be donation a portion of the proceeds from April 1st through May 8th to Old Friends. – So drink up!
