* Note: this is a personal event, but it’s a great cause (with great beer at a great bar!). Also: that artwork. How could we not post this?! You go, Lauren 🙂
As many of you know, my life goal at the current moment is to run the NYC Marathon on November 1st. Things are really getting serious, you guys. [Quick shout out to my body for keeping itself in one piece, so far.]
To add to the emotions aspect of this, I’m running for a great charity, The Moyer Foundation. Their mission is to provide comfort, hope and healing to children affected by loss and family addiction.
In order to reach my goal of $2,500 AND help provide the services that help make that possible to children who need support, I am going to need your help [ready for it?]… drinking lots and lots of cans of delicious Ballast Point beer!! Get it now? Lauren CAN do it!
Here’s how it works:
When you arrive, you can buy wristbands from me for $15. The wrist band allows you to purchase Ballast Point cans at the bar for only $3!! Do you know how great Ballast Point is? If yes, you get it. If not, now is your chance.
If you don’t want the wristband [you hate wristbands or the color of the wrist band or you don’t drink beer or whateva], there will also be a place where you can just drop donations. And if you sadly can’t make it out, you can still donate at https://www.crowdrise.com/moyernyc2015/fundraiser/laurenhafley
Hope to see you there ♥
*Shout out to Jen Dickey and Kirk Struble, my best friends, for making this event possible!
