Millstone Cellars Cider Tasting at Haymaker Bar & Kitchen

Haymaker Bar & Kitchen, the latest destination craft beer bar and gastropub to hit Chelsea, will be celebrating Cider Week with the very best of them: Millstone Cellars (Maryland).

Kyle Sherrer, Millstone’s co-founder and resident cider maker, will be at Haymaker from 5:30-7:30 on Thursday, November 12th to showcase four ciders and answer any questions about producing some of the country’s finest, handmade and rustic ciders.

Millstone Cellars has consistently been praised for leading the U.S. artisanal cider renaissance with traditional methods that harken back to pre-Prohibition. And as our fascination with this new wave of cider continues to grow, this is a great opportunity to learn more

Here’s a look at what Kyle will be bringing to Haymaker’s taps:

  • Millstone Cherry Kriek 8%: Fermented with two different types of sour cherries
  • Millstone Farmgate 8%: Rustic house cider, touch of oak, sour and tart vinegar notes
  • Millstone Bonfire Cyser 10%: Spicy, smoky and sour mead cider blend made with Fish Peppers
  • Millstone Gingeroot 7.5% (Bottle Pour): Tart cider brewed with baby ginger and infused with raw blueberry honey.
