Blind Tiger Ale House
281 Bleecker St., New York, NY10014
Victory Brewing Company began on a school bus in 1973. It was then, in Montgomery County, Pennslyvania, that two fifth grade boys met — twenty three years later they opened their own microbrewery. What are the odds that these two adolescent boys, Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet, would both go on to study brewing in Europe and both decide that they were passionate about bringing their European brewery training to the American landscape? As luck would have it, the odds were in the beer drinkers favor — in 1996, Victory Brewing Company was borne from the trusted friendship between two men and their single commitment to making excellent American craft beer.
This Wednesday, October 28th, at 3pm, all of our Tigerites will benefit from our trusted friendship with this great brewery. We’ve always regarded Bill and Ron as Blind Tiger family — and, now that Max Salat is our Victory rep (son of long-time Tigerites Jane and Scott) our link to the Victory family is growing! Brother Bill will be in the Blind Tiger house for this event, so stop on by and raise a glass of Victory with him!
