The Bronx Brewery Introduces 12-Ounce Cans

Posted on October 12, 2015 by NYCBG

The Bronx Brewery announced today that they will be introducing new 12-ounce cans. The rollout will occur in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut this week.

The shift in packaging means that the brewery will no longer be releasing the 16-ounce can four-packs we are used to seeing. This announcement comes hot on the heels of Other Half’s new 12-ounce can release, Doug, which was released over the weekend.

We can expect to see all four of The Bronx Brewery’s year-round beers in the new 12-ounce can format. These include:

  • American Pale Ale – English caramel & biscuit malts balanced with West Coast citrus hops.
  • Belgian Pale Ale – Two strains of Trappist yeast, one Belgian ale yeast, and Belgian candi sugar highlight this remarkably intricate, fruity, spicy, and earthy straw-colored Belgian Pale Ale.
  • Rye Pale Ale – A crisp, golden-orange pale ale with bold rye & piney hops.
  • Session IPA – Easy drinking, loads of tropical hop flavor and a subtle tart finish.

There have been a couple big changes for the brewery, which is just one year old. Earlier this year, The Bronx Brewery sold a minority stake in a private equity investment deal.

The Bronx Brewery will be celebrating its first anniversary on Saturday, October 24. Full details here.
