Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC) is slated to open this summer in Brooklyn. Their brewhouse and tasting room are located at 381 Troutman Street in Bushwick.
Leading up to their anticipated summer launch, KCBC has announced that a limited number of Community Supported Beer (CSB) memberships are available. Three separate pricing tiers will give you different numbers of crowler fills throughout the next year (ranging from 12 – 36 crowler fills).
“Crowl-wha?” you might ask. Crowlers are part growler, part can. It’s essentially an oversized 32-ounce aluminum can that is filled directly from a draft line, and sealed with a lid on-site. It’s an economical and efficient method for beer-to-go locations (seen also at places like the Keg & Lantern in Brooklyn, for instance).
