Transmitter Brewing will be releasing Harvest 1 and Harvest 2 soon. Both beers are fermented in oak barrels, H1 with the addition of zinfandel grapes, and H2 with the addition of chardonnay grapes. More complete descriptions are below.
Old zinfandel grapes are added to wine barrels for a secondary fermentation that adds a delicious complex fruitiness with subtle balanced oak and tannic structure. Dry with a profound underlying fruitiness.
Complex oak and integrated fruit flavors. Brettanomyces kissed to add some earthiness and depth to the funk.
No word yet on when they will be available. Keep your eyes open for these, they sound amazing.
Update: H1 and H2 are available on draft now, and bottles are coming soon.
