Plan Bee Farm Brewery Has Purchased a Farm

Posted on June 4, 2015 by NYCBG

Plan Bee Farm Brewery has announced that they purchased a 25 acre farm in Poughkeepsie, NY. They aim to be moved in and brewing by the end of the year.

The announcement was made in a recent blog post, and their excitement is virtually contagious. Plan Bee has been making highly acclaimed farmhouse and sour ales on a small farm in Fishkill, NY, and selling them at local farmer’s markets since 2013.

Given their popularity, low production numbers, and limited distribution, Plan Bee beer has been difficult to find. All that will change with the move, which will allow them to expand to a 10-barrel brewhouse complete with a bottling line and and two ten-barrel oak open fermenters, plus ample space to store barrels for aging their ales.

Plan Bee’s new brewery will further establish the Hudson Valley as a strong player in the regional craft beer scene. We are incredibly excited about this news and can’t wait to see everything unfold!
