New York’s first craft cider bar is opening its doors to the public tonight. Wassail is a bar and restaurant featuring 12 ciders on tap (and two craft beers if you’re in the mood for something hoppy), as well as thoughtfully executed cocktails. The restaurant offers a complete food menu that is meat-free (but don’t label them a vegetarian restaurant).
Wassail is owned by Jennifer Lim and Ben Sadler, who are also behind The Queens Kickshaw in Astoria (which offers a great selection of craft beer and cider alongside coffee and grilled cheese).
Wassail opens tonight at 5, and dinner will be served from 5:30. Looking forward to checking this out!
