It’s another weekend in NYC, and that means another handful of opportunities to pick up some sweet, liquid gold wrapped in aluminum.
This weekend, LIC Beer Project is releasing their first canned beer. Pile of Crowns is an 8.5% ABV Imperial IPA that has been double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Nugget hops. With Jean-Michel Basquiat-inspired can art and more hops than you’ll know what to do with, this is bound to be an end-of-summer hit. Pile of Crowns cans will go for $18 per four-pack, with a 1 case limit per person. The sale starts Saturday, 8/27 at noon at LIC Beer Project (39-28 23rd Street, Long Island City, NY 11101).
Other Half Brewing Co. will release four cans on Saturday. None of the releases are collaborations, which could potentially help reduce the line buildup leading into the sale. Details, pricing and more info below:
Cans go on sale Saturday, 8/27 at 10am at Other Half Brewing Company (195 Centre St, Brooklyn, NY 11231).
