With spring upon us and summer just around the corner, we’re getting excited to dive into beer festival season. It seems like there are more festivals happening in and around the city every year, and it can be hard to keep track of them! To help you plan your summer drinking, here’s a rundown of the NYC craft beer festivals we’re looking forward to this year.
May 6 @ The Well, East Williamsburg
Kicking the season off at The Well, Five Boro Craft Beer Fest brings together over 40 breweries pouring more than 100 beers. Tickets are on sale now for $85 a piece, which includes unlimited beer tastings, food, and live music. Always a good time!
May 14th @ Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Westchester County
Captain Lawrence is turning 10, and they’re celebrating in style. $40 gets you admission to the party, which includes tastings of 30 rare, seasonal, sour, pilot batch, and year-round brews. Go for the beer, stay for the good company and music. And be sure to wish Captain Lawrence a happy birthday!
May 14th @ Provident Bank Park, Pomona
The Rockland Boulders will be hosting their fourth annual “Beers Around the Bases” Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, May 14, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Palisades Credit Union Park. Fans will be able to enjoy unlimited tastings of more than 20 craft beers, as well as live music and entertainment, throughout the event.
May 29 @ Stuyvesant Cove Park, Manhattan
Beer and hot dogs, outside, in a park. Hard to imagine many things better than that! $40 gets you unlimited gourmet hot dog tastings and 2 beers from any of 10 NYC breweries.
June 4 @ Growler & Gill, Nanuet
If you’re looking to escape the city for an afternoon of indulgence in the Hudson Valley, this is the event for you. With over 50 local and regional breweries, it’s hard to go wrong. The VIP ticket is especially attractive, giving you access to the beers being served a full hour before the general admission ticket holders are let in.
June 17 – June 18 @ Lexington Avenue Armory, Manhattan
75 participating breweries from across the country will showcase two of their finest offerings, meaning about 150 beers total will be available for your drinking pleasure. The beers offered usually place an emphasis on their Limited Release and Seasonal selections.
